A note from our founder
Hi, I'm Claire, the founder of RescueME.
I've called the UAE home for many years, and a few years ago I fell into dog rescue and rehoming almost by accident. It turned out I had a knack for it, particularly the rehoming side, finding the right family for the right dog. Since then I've worked alongside other local rescuers to help place the dogs and cats in their care.
The idea for RescueME has been quietly forming for a long time. I never quite got around to building it, until I came across Joe, who turned the vision into something real.
RescueME is a collaborative tool. It's open to anyone in the UAE rescuing dogs, cats, and rabbits, and my hope is that bringing all of that work into one place will help more animals find the homes they deserve.

A note from our developer
We're building RescueME to help reduce the number of neglected and abandoned pets in the UAE and to make adopting one of them as easy as possible.
The plan is straightforward: a fast, well-built web app (and eventually a mobile app) that takes the friction out of adoption. That means better listings, event sign-ups, and, down the road, donations and more.
I've been following Claire on X for a few months, and it's clear she pours everything she has into this work. She needs all the support she can get, so please show up for her however you can.
