Miso

Miso is a 4,5 months old Cockapoo/Maltipoo boy who is searching for a loving, patient family to help him discover that the world isn’t such a scary place. Miso is a very timid puppy. He doesn’t know much about the outside world yet, and new people, places, and experiences can be overwhelming for him. He isn’t aggressive in any way, when he’s scared, he simply shuts down. With kindness, patience, and time, he slowly starts to come out of his shell. His foster is working hard with his confidence and he is improving every day. He already knows how to walk on a leash, but the outside world still frightens him, so he will need someone willing to take things at his pace and celebrate every little step forward. We are currently working on his house training, and his new family should be prepared to continue helping him learn. We believe Miso would do best in a calm home. We can also see him thriving with another confident, small dog who could help show him that life can be fun and safe. We don’t think a home with very young children would be the right fit. Older, respectful children who understand that Miso needs space and patience would be much more suitable. Miso isn’t looking for a perfect family…he’s looking for a patient one. Someone who will love him for who he is today and help him grow into the confident little dog we know he can become. Miso is vaccinated, chipped and has been de-wormed and will be neutered once old enough. Come and meet him!
